At Politecnico di Milano partner universities can use an online tool to manage their students before, during and after the exchange period.
Registration.
To access the Online Tool, official registration is required. For step‑by‑step guidance, please refer to the Instructions to access the Online Tool for partner institutions.
Once you complete the registration, you will receive a unique Person Code and set your password (Polimi Credentials).
Please store your Person Code and password securely: you will need them for future logins. The passwords expire every 12 months.
Access to the Online Tool.
- First login for new partner nominators: Sign in with your Person Code and password, then enter the one‑time access code. For how to obtain the access code, see the Instructions.
- Subsequent logins: sign in with your Person Code and password only.
The two‑factor authentication (2FA) requirement has been removed for partner‑university staff.
Important: To ensure secure access without 2FA, always use this direct link Online Tool for Partner Universities (do not use “Access Online Services” on the homepage).
Nomination and documents.
Once officially registered, staff members at partner universities can nominate students during the two nomination windows (only after applicant has submitted the complete online application form).
- Student application: from 1st to 21st April (Autumn arrivals) and from 1st to 21st October (Spring arrivals)
- Nomination windows: from 1st to 30th April (Autumn arrivals) and from 1st to 31st October (Spring arrivals)
Through the same tool, you can also download acceptance letters for students who need a visa, retrieve the Transcript of Records and the Confirmation of Attendance at the end of the mobility period.
