- Reserved spots are available for the Milan Bovisa and Piacenza campuses to ensure participation from both locations. Students are selected to guarantee a diverse mix of ages and fields of study. Priority will be given to those who provide a CV (optionally requested during digital registration)

Descrizione dell'iniziativa
Participants are presented with a real industrial application to be solved in a miniature case, by building a functioning prototype with DIY materials. The problem is designed to allow a wide range of solutions and allow the students to express their ingenuity to the fullest, with time & prototype weight constraints stimulating them to optimize the design as much as possible. The machine is then tested, and its performance scored. The score is calculated with a formula that keeps into account the performance and complexity of the prototype in a quantitative way. The top three scoring prototypes win prizes. Both the industrial application, scoring system and materials available are revealed only at the start of the challenge, to ensure a level playing field
