About TEF Ignition
TEF Ignition is a 7-week programme promoted by Tech Europe Foundation (TEF), aimed at students from Politecnico di Milano and Bocconi University who wish to engage concretely with the world of entrepreneurship. It is designed for those who want to explore the potential of their idea and begin developing it with greater awareness, method and the right tools.
During the programme, participants have the opportunity to work actively on their project, better defining its objectives, features and possible developments. The pathway makes it possible to test the idea, gather initial feedback and engage with practical questions related to its feasibility, usefulness and growth potential. In this way, students can assess the entrepreneurial potential of their proposal more clearly.
Over the course of the 7 weeks, participants can rely on a small budget to launch their first development activities, access online learning content and engage with experienced mentors. The support provided helps turn an initial idea into a more structured project, offering practical guidance and useful opportunities for discussion to help steer the work.
What the programme offers
TEF Ignition provides concrete tools to support participants in the early stages of developing their idea. The programme does not simply offer theoretical content; rather, it provides a practical experience designed to help students experiment, acquire a method and begin taking their first steps on the entrepreneurial path.
In particular, the programme offers:
- a grant to support project development
- a mentorship pathway with entrepreneurs and innovators

- practical resources to acquire skills related to the creation and validation of a business idea
At the end of the pathway, there is also a final presentation session, in which participants can present their project to professionals and investors, test the work they have done and receive further input for the next steps.
