The "Learning with AI" AIMOOK was produced as part of the Edvance project - Digital Education Hub for Advanced Digital Culture. The project is funded by the European Union - Next Generation EU, Component 1, Investment 3.4 "Teaching and advanced university skills".

The course offers a general overview of the main tools of Artificial Intelligence, including Large Language Models (LLMs); participants are taught how to use these by means of a structured approach, which helps to make the learning process more personalised and effective. The course is known as an AIMOOK (Artificial Intelligence Mentored Online Open Knowledge), a learning environment that is part AIbook and part MOOC. It has been designed to offer an interactive and personalised rhizomatic learning experience, using AI in the following forms:

• An integrated AIbook: an interactive digital book with adaptive pathways.
• AItivities: practical exercises tutored by the AIbook.
• Metacognitive exercises: critical reflections on the use of the AIbook.
• Infographics: visual aids to facilitate learning.
• Podcasts with experts: insights from international specialists.

Finally, after successfully completing the course and passing the assessment tests, students will be awarded an Open Badge to certify their newly-acquired skills.

• Week 1 - The Power of Learning: an introduction to the Smart Learning (SL) method for more structured and effective learning. An exploration of Artificial Intelligence tools, in particular Large Language Models (LLMs), and their potential in the learning process.
• Week 2 – The steps towards learning: an analysis of the various stages of learning by means of real scenarios using Artificial Intelligence tools.
• Week 3 – Next steps: An exploration of the future use of AI in education, from multimedia features to personalised content, examining both current limits and future developments.
