The CEnT-S test is the online engineering test provided by Cisia (Consortium of Inter-University Integrated Access Systems) delivered in English.

CEnT-S structure
The CEnT-S test consists of 55 questions divided into five sections.
The sections are:
- Mathematics
- Reasoning on texts and data
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Physics.

You can only use CEnT-S as an alternative to TOL if the score converted to TOL score is at least equal to the minimum score required for enrolment.

Upon registration, the CEnT-S result will be converted into a score out of one hundred according to methods and calculation formulas defined by Politecnico di Milano, to ensure equivalence with TOL test scores.
The following sections are NOT considered in the conversion calculation: Biology, Chemistry.
Deadlines for taking and registering CenT-S tests
For students enrolled in their final year of high school in the 2025/2026 academic year or for those who have already graduated
- Test taken:1 September 2025 to 4 June 2026
- Registration: by 4 June 2026, 11:59 am (CEST)

- Test taken:1 September 2025 to 31 August 2026

To use the CEnT-S, you must register the result in Online Services by the deadline.
Registration is possible from the day after the test date, only after the official result is available on the CISIA website.
Code:
- Go to the Online Services > Lauree triennali e a ciclo unico (equivalent to Bachelor and Master of Science) programmes: admission or remedial test and enrolment > Alternative test registration
- Displays CEnT-S scores and their converted TOL score
- Select Confirm and continue
- Choose your preferred degree course and confirm
If you are already enrolled in a course at the Politecnico and wish to enrol in another course at another School, you can request a change of context.
In this case, the payment of the first instalment of tuition fees shall remain valid.
