TOLC-ENGINEERING is the online engineering test provided by Cisia (Consortium of Inter-University Integrated Access Systems).
If you want to know how to register for the TOLC-I, you can find all the information on the Cisia portal.
You can only use TOLC-I as an alternative to TOL if the score converted to TOL score is at least equal to the minimum score required for enrolment.

The TOLC-I also includes an English section (30 questions in 15 minutes).
If you have given fewer than 24 correct answers in the English section, you will be enrolled with the OFA (additional educational obligations) for English.
Deadlines for taking and registering TOLC-I tests
For students enrolled in the penultimate year of high school in the 2024/2025 school year
- Test taken:1 January to 18 July 2025
- Registration: by 25 July 2025, 11:59 am (CEST)

- Test taken:1 September 2025 to 4 June 2026

To use the TOLC-I, you must register the result in Online Services by the deadline.
Registration is possible from the day after the test date, only after the official result is available on the CISIA website.

- Go to the Online Services > Lauree triennali e a ciclo unico (equivalent to Bachelor and Master of Science) programmes: admission or remedial test and enrolment > Alternative test registration
- Displays TOLC-I scores and their converted TOL score
- Select Confirm and continue
Choose your preferred degree course and confirm.
If you are already enrolled in a course at the Politecnico and wish to enrol in another course at another School, you can request a change of context.
In this case, the payment of the first instalment of tuition fees shall remain valid.
