If you are a student with a disability, a certified serious health condition, an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and/or a Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD), and you need compensatory tools to take the test, you must declare your condition and upload the relevant certification and/or diagnosis at the time of registration for the TEST.
If you are interested in an interview to find out more about the Service or if you need special assistance during the entrance test or your university career (i.e., accessible classrooms and residences, guidance, etc.) we ask you to register on the Online Services to obtain your personal code and password and then write to multichance@polimi.it, starting from January.
We would like to remind you that SLD diagnoses must be updated and made according to the indications of the Consensus Conference of the Istituto Superiore di Sanità.
Diagnoses issued prior to a student’s 18th birthday will be deemed valid provided that no more than three years have elapsed since the date of issue, as stated in the Guidelines attached to the Ministerial Decree dated 12.07.2011. The organisations and the specialists that issue the SLD certificates must be affiliated with the Italian Local Health Authority (ASL) in accordance with Art. 3 of the Italian Law 170/2010.
For candidates with an SLD diagnosis - Specific Learning Disorder - who require additional support when registering for the test, the deadline for registering for the test is brought forward by two working days in order to ensure the arrangement of support.
Please also note that if you have a certified disability of at least 66%, or if you are disabled under Article 3, paragraphs 1 and 3, of the Law 104 of 5 February 1992, you are entitled to an exemption from university fees.
To take advantage of the exemption from the first application, please contact multichance@polimi.it before proceeding to enrolment.
