The collaboration between Ariston Group and Politecnico di Milano is based on a shared commitment to promoting applied research, technological innovation and the development of future skills.
Partners since 2020, in 2026 Ariston Group and Politecnico di Milano signed a new five-year Scientific Collaboration Agreement and an implementing agreement in the field of Sustainable space and water heating and cooling. The aim is to combine industrial know-how and academic knowledge to generate tangible innovation through the launch of new research projects and the establishment of joint working teams. The agreement also includes training activities through participation in specialised technical seminars, as well as employer branding and talent acquisition activities.
At the heart of the project is the strengthening of RELAB, a laboratory dedicated to the study of sustainable heating and cooling systems. The research activities - carried out mainly with the involvement of the Department of Energy (DENG), the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering (DEIB), and the Department of Mechanical Engineering (DMEC) - explore renewable technologies while extending the scope to new strategic areas.
Beyond research
In addition to its technical and scientific objectives, Ariston Group supports Politecnico di Milano’s mission of continuously updating its educational offer in line with the evolution of professional roles, the labour market and society’s needs. Activities also include the activation of PhD Programmes and the recruitment of new researchers in the scientific areas of interest.
